Britannia Renewal - Non-Market Housing World Cafe
In 2018, the City of Vancouver and project partners (Vancouver Park Board, Vancouver School Board, Vancouver Public Library and Britannia Community Services Society) adopted the Britannia Master Plan, which identified a vision for a renewed Britannia. The Master Plan was created with community and identifies the need for a number of new site uses, including the addition of non-market housing. Project partners are now starting the rezoning phase of the Britannia Renewal to determine how the site can be redeveloped to realize the Master Plan.
At this time, it is important for us to hear from local organizations who have knowledge on local housing needs and expertise on delivery and/or management of non-market housing in the Grandview Woodland’s neighbourhood. Your input is important to the project.Conversations at this virtual Non-Market Housing World Cafe will help Project partners understand how to best integrate non-market housing into the Britannia redevelopment.
