The 1100 sq ft Teen Centre is made up of a large central space, plus adjoining offices and rooms, and has the following activities:

Britannia Teen Centre
The Britannia Teen Centre is a place to meet people, find resources and support, explore your interests, and have fun.
The Teen Centre features a spacious lounge area with cozy couches and large TVs, perfect for watching movies or gaming with friends. Nearby, a pool table invites friendly competition, while dedicated craft tables offer a creative outlet for arts, DIY projects, and group workshops. Several breakout rooms provide quieter spaces for small group activities, study sessions, or just some downtime. The Centre’s open-concept layout and comfortable design makes it an ideal hangout spot where teens can connect, unwind, and build community.

Latin American Youth Programs
The Latin American Youth Program (LAYP) offers a number of opportunities for Latinx youth ages 13-18yrs. These activities range from organized recreational programs to advocacy and referral services.

Latin Cooking
Do you want to learn how to cook food from different Latin American countries? Come share your favorite dishes and learn new recipes! Thursdays from 5-7:30pm.
You will also learn how to choose foods that are more nutritious and shop on budget.
Friends First
Make new friends and learn new skills! This program provides social, recreational, and educational activities. We meet every Saturday from 1-5pm. Consent forms are required to participate in the outings.
Latin American Youth Committee
We are looking for young people who are interested in starting new programs and activities for our community. If you want to support our community, start new projects and events. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 pm.
Coed Indoor Soccer
Free drop-in soccer for youth (with high school ID). New players welcome! Tuesdays from 5-7:30pm
Spanish Clubs
What are Spanish Clubs? A place to meet the Latinx students in your school, have fun, learn more about Latin American culture, and know what activities and programs are going on in your community.
We provide games, music, and workshops. If you are interested in having a Spanish Club at your school contact 604.787.9251.
