At Britannia on East 7th Childcare, we are committed to creating safe, nurturing, and inclusive environments where children, families, and educators experience a strong sense of belonging, well-being, and connection. Our program is grounded in care, kindness, inclusion, and mutual respect. We honour the diverse identities, cultures, and perspectives within our community while supporting children in developing empathy, social responsibility, and a sense of equity and belonging in their everyday experiences.

Through land-based pedagogies, outdoor exploration, neighborhood walks, and sustainable practices, children are encouraged to build meaningful relationships with the natural world and develop a sense of environmental stewardship.

Our 25-space program offers inquiry-based experiences where children and educators learn collaboratively alongside an atelierista and pedagogist. Through reflective practice, pedagogical dialogue, and documentation, educators make children’s ideas and learning visible, thoughtfully extending opportunities for creativity, exploration, and meaningful learning.

Facilities: 1600 sq ft of indoor-outdoor spaces, including a community garden, a make-believe playroom, a sleep room, etc.
