BRITANNIA POOL
Britannia Pool is an indoor pool located in the Britannia Community Centre, just off Commercial Drive west of Napier Greenway. It features a 25 metre swimming pool, a heated tot pool with slide and water fountain, a hot tub, sauna, steam room, and more.
Our pool welcomes all ages and swimming abilities. Children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or older at all times.
Note: the Pool will be closed for annual maintenance from Nov 17-Dec 14, 2025

POOL RULES, HEALTH & SAFETY
Please help everyone enjoy the Britannia Pool by following the below guidelines.
- A responsible guardian of at least 16 yrs, must accompany children under 8 yrs, and must be within arm’s reach at all times.
- Patrons with open sores or infectious diseases will not be permitted in the pool.
- No cut-offs, street clothes or underwear to be worn in the pool.
- Please help us by respecting others and ensuring that the universal change stalls are used promptly and left clean.
- Infants must wear snug-fitting plastic pants or swim diapers.
- Cameras, cell phones and recording devices are not permitted in the change room or on deck, unless permitted by the Aquatic Leader.
RENT THIS FACILITY
Rent our pools and swim lanes for your private events, swim clubs, and more.
Full rental fees will be collected at time of booking. We cannot hold a space until payment is received in full. Once you have rented space from us a minimum of 3 times within a 6 month period and are in good standing, you can apply to become a regular user at which time, rental fees can be collected on the day of your event or program.
